E-Conveyancing via PEXA
PEXA is an electronic conveyancing platform which is becoming increasingly used to complete property settlements, rather than via the traditional paper method.
There are a number of benefits of transacting in PEXA including:-
-
The transaction is completed electronically – meaning that all Land Registry documents are created digitally and executed on behalf of our clients, alleviating the need to find someone to witness your signature or having to post back original documents;
-
Land Registry documents are lodged immediately in the Titles Office so that registration and change of ownership can occur sooner;
-
Immediate transfer of funds straight into nominated bank accounts; and
-
No bank cheques required.
E-Conveyancing is now mandatory for transactions in New South Wales and Victoria, but not as yet in Queensland. We are nevertheless experienced in e-Conveyancing and helping to lead the way for transacting in PEXA in Queensland.
If you have any questions regarding the use of e-Conveyancing and PEXA or would like to engage our team to assist you in your transaction, please call us on (07) 5598 6143.
